We are happy that you decided to learn to use Docker with us. Docker gained a lot of popularity in the last couple of years and nowadays, it can be very useful also for Data Scientists.

By end of this micro-course you will be able to:

  • Install docker on your machine.
  • Understand how Docker can be useful for data scientists.
  • Download a Docker image of your choice and setup a dev environment.
  • Create your own simple Docker files and images.

Course duration: ~6 hours

Prerequisites

For this micro-course, you will need basic knowledge of the Command line. If you need to refresh it, you can take our course Environment Setup.

Mentor support

If you opted for one of the plans with mentor support, you will be added to our Slack channel. Also, if you selected a mentor call, one of our mentors will contact you and you'll arrange your online meeting at your convenience. If you chose the basic plan but feel like you could use some help throughout the course, just let us know and we'll help you upgrade.
